From introduction to advanced training, BJO Formation provides an array of modules on all aspects of the jewellery trade.

  • INTRODUCTION
    • Mops, brushes, compounds and other products used in polishing
    • Jewellery polishing
    • Using polishing motors and threads
    • Polishing flat and domed surfaces, sharp edges and chains
    • Polishing a jour settings and collets
    • Cleaning, drying, satinising, applying coating/varnish
  • ADVANCED TRAINING
    • Tools and products used in fine jewellery and silverware polishing
    • Polishing silverware (boxes, flasks and other decorative objects)
    • Finishing techniques before quality control

TEACHING RESOURCES

  • Training provided by highly skilled polishers
  • Workshop equipped with polishing motors and dust extractors, tools, accessories and compounds

TRAINING VALIDATION

  • A progress report and a final report will be produced at the end of each quarter
  • At the end of the session, each participant will receive a certificate after a skills assessment
